Worth a stop on a walk around guilin. Early morning swimmers plough up and down apparently ignoring the tourist boats hammering up and down. People fishing on the banks and off the bridge itself occasionally, on a hot night there is always a cool breeze.

A bridge. An important transportation route connecting Guilin city centre and Qixing District (where the Seven Star Park locates). You could probably take some photos on Lijiang River. Nothing special.

It is a large bridge, but is just a bridge after all! It looks lovely all lit up at night and you can get a nice photo of the river and mountains in the background during the day.

Not much to see here, but worth a stroll across on foot to see the gardens either side and to mingle with the locals. Swimmers flock to the small beaches on either side of the bridge in early evening. The bridge is lit with indigo blue lighting at night, which is rather stunning. Just to the North West of the... A bridge that you may have to cross at some point if sight seeing around guilin. If so I suppose it provides a decent view up and down the river. If not definitely don't go out of your way to see it.

It's a bridge that you will have to take at moment to visit attractions from one side of river to the other. Otherwise as said several times, it's just a bridge that crosses a river in a town.

I dont know how it became an attraction, because it is just an ordinary bridge. May be you can see the elephant hill from this bridge. other than that, there is nothing special.

A nice plate to visit to get some pictures but there are countless other places to get better shots. If touring Guilin you are bound to cross over this bridge at some point. Beneath the bridge is a really nice BBQ(Shaokao) place that brews their own beer. Its on the side opposite downtown.

This bridge traverses the Lijiang River, nothing special other than its rather long and in a very scenic spot with a bucket load of traffic going over it all day and night. Worth walking around this area day, night or sunset as it's pretty but it still has a few grungey spots.

Jiefang Bridge is the most important entrance in the east of Guilin, hundred years ago it was the only way in the east. Pass the bridge is the city center, people driving, biking or walking through this bridge for work, shopping every day. There are two famous hills we can see from the bridge: Elephant Trunk Hill and Fubo hill,... More
