We took a twilight boat cruise. On the 4 lakes. The scenery is extraordinary. Guilin has embraced tourism. There is so much to see. We had a tour guide and driver and was well worth it.
First, unlike most of the sites in Guilin, this site is free when visit outside (but will be charged if you want to climb up of it) the best time to visit is at sunrise time and sunset time, or at nights.
Golden pagoda, must watch after its lit to glory in the evening. Beautiful. Must watch feel the nice ambience around.
