Our hotel is a short walk from the caves and they are quite large. And in true Chinese fashion they are lit up with various colors. It is 110 RMB to get in and takes about two hours to meander through.

This was not on our normal itinerary but we are glad we paid this place a visit. The caves are brilliantly lit by coloured lights are about 500 metres in length at in some places upto 10 metres high. Worth a visit.

It is not possible to express in words the beauty of nature as revealed inside this cave. I found it overwhelmingly beautiful. Superb organisation and so worth visiting. Don't leave Guilin without going to Reed Flute Cave!

The kids enjoyed the caves and they were a nice cool, refreshing break from the heat. If in Guilin they are worth a visit. Lots of stairs so not for those with limited mobility.
