One thing about China, no matter how beautiful a nature site may be it can be improved upon with colored lighting. The reed flute cave is no exception. This is not a large cave, nor an especially interesting one but it does have easy pathways...More

This is not a must see unless you are into brilliantly lighted caves. It can be viewed in a short time and is the same area as the Folded Brocade Hill.

Very touristic. Quite nice cave but they ruined the experience with too much music/lightning etc. No english guide available.

We dropped in on the way to the airport, as part of our WENDY WU GRAND TOUR. Definitely worth the visit, the cave is more than pleasant/charming but having a local guide is a necessity, because there is so much to see down there.

Worth while visit. Amazing collection of stalagtites and stalagmites beautifully lit up with lights. Tip - try to go at lunch time or exclude weekends as it gets very crowded.

Beautiful caves worth a visit not far from the city of Guilin. Definitely worth a visit on a tour. Guilin is a sub-tropical paradise. Great weather in November

Hi, I am planning on taking a taxi from my hotel the Lijiang Waterfall to the Reed Flute Cave. I would like to know will I be able to catch a taxi back to the hotel? Planning on doing this solo.
