I visited on a rainy day. It is good to go inside the cave to see the extraordinary natural sculpture with artificial colour light. It is the must-see in this park. There are many other places to see, e.g. Camel Hill, children play area. You can spend at least half day there to see in detail.

The park itself is quite scenic and is nice for a walk but not sure I want to pay RMB70 for dirty path and no benches to relax. Small turtles with magnets on their backs to fish for them were atrocious, so was a big turtle stucked in between four legs of an overturned coffee table for the purpose of... More

Visited this place. Nice place to stroll around and dive into the Chinese way of outdoor living. However do not go into the animal zoo. Not up-to-date animal handling, cages are tiny, animals are inappropriately dealt with. They have the small pandas , but not the big black&awhile. The animal zoo is not worth it.

Well, yes, it's a beautiful place to visit, I was not fascinated by the zoo, and when I was there, I didn't see any pandas, however, the gardens are worth while and a jolly walk with friends will be well appreciated.

The Star Pavilion offers fantastic views of the city and surrounding mountains, however, the park as a whole seems run down, with whole sections closed for repair and others generally looking tired and old. There is still natural beauty on offer and so it is nice walking through the paths - but don't expect the signposts to be of much... More

My husband and I visited this park today, hoping to see pandas at the zoo and get some nice views of the city from the top of the hill. We did get some great views and were pretty impressed by the cave it's huge! But those were the only positives. Just some of the reasons we did not enjoy our... More

The zoo is a garden atmosphere, green grass, shrubs, trees and flower gardens. The animal population is not only pandas, there are other animals. But the main attraction are the pandas, both mature adults and baby pandas. The zoo had several babies and adults. The babies were enclosed behind glass easily visible. The adults are in large areas each separated... More

Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time there. The ticket is 70 Yuan, plus you have to pay extra to go to the cave within the park. It's like a huge playground for very young kids.

You need to pay the entry but Zoo, Caves and other activities are payable at same cost. Total budget should be more than 250 rmb of entry cost per people.
