Went there today. I rented a bicycle for 45 RMB for 3 hours. If you cycle, you will be able to see a good part of the city but do not expect to cover the entire wall in 3 hours. I cycled quite quickly for...More

My wife and I spent a day exploring the city wall. Paid the small admission fee and climbed the stairs. The wall itself is huge! Very wide and well maintained. There are places to rent bicycles, and you can ride the full distance around. We...More

We rented bikes and rode them halfway around on the top of the wall. I believe normally you can go all the way around but there was some construction that prevented this. It is pretty flat with some very small inclines. We visited on a...More

This is a really fantastic visit. You can hire a bike to ride around the wall, which is essential if you want to see it all. So much more to Xiian than just the Warriors!

The wall is so well preserved and affords wonderful views...on the inside is the ancient city, on the outside the cityscapes of the new city. We rented bikes and did the entire 15 km. Ramparts are located all around the perimeter with historic watchtowers too....More

Huge wall. One can cycle round here to go around to absorb the view of this place. Nice for family with kids to learn of the history of this place.

Great way to see the city and city's interesting rooftops. From traditional houses and hidden balconies and rooftop gardens to the more modern, towering skyscrapers, I would really recommend renting a bike and trying to cycle the whole way around. Avoid the hottest hours (if...More

Great place to see history and culture. You can rent a bike and bike around too. We walked a leisurely pace and saw the moat and many gorgeous buildings. A good piece of history not to be missed in Xi’an.

The bicycle service is worth to try on. The dual seats one is good for us, if you have a kid does not know how to ride the bike.

Once you leave you cannot renter. It’s very inexpensive to get in around 8 US dollars. I would recommend renting the bikes it’s a lot of fun and you can ride at your own pace. Stopping and viewing the city it’s beautiful.

Open all the time! You now have to pay to go there. Not expensive like 10 US dollars. You can even rent bike to ride around. It is about 15 km around. Very nice!

I believe that only the South Gate is open at night. To the south of the South Gate there is a show on in the night, which could be nice to look at from the wall. I'm not sure what times it is on, but it involves some... More
