After strolling through the annual snow festival sights in Odori park, we decided to join the crowds of people heading to the Sapporo TV Tower observation deck. There was a line outside to buy tickets, then a shorter line to get on the elevator to the third floor. On the third floor there's a much longer line to wait for... More

One of the best places to visit at night (winter) all the roads are covered with powdered snow. Ive never seen such beauty in my entire life. A must place to visit during night time because of the christmas lights wrapped around the trees.

Initially, we were at the level 3 (free for all). There's nothing much to see though. Then, we decided to see more. We paid about 700 yen per person. We were led to take a lift ride. Wow, we were taken aback delightfully: on the way up to the TOP, we were able to see the building structure via the... More

I would give this 3.5 as a place to go. It gave great views of the city, and especially with the snow festival going on, you can get a bird's eye view of the whole strip. I wouldn't necessarily call this a tourist trap, but if you don't have a chance to go here, it's not a big deal. Maybe... More

Nice views, but a bit pricey for the time you're likely to spend there. Still worth a look though. Good for kids.

It was snowing and cold so we just took a picture of it from the entrance of the subway. Because there is nothing happening there during November. Is a trademark you can skip if you are there during November.

This is a good place to see the entire city, but the place might not be high enough and there is a fee of 720 yen per adult. It would have been good if the rates are a bit lower since there is really not much in there. We went there in the afternoon, so maybe the view is much... More
