Rent a bicycle (minimum 200 yen for 2 hours) and round the park. It has a few cool spots and makes for a good evening activity.

The park is big, so renting a bicycle was a good option to enjoy this well maintained and lovely park. Cherry blossoms were beautiful. 2 hours of bike rental only cost 200 Yen. It is highly recommended.

How do I get to the park on public transport? I read somewhere stating to go to kanjodori-higashi eki and take local bus service 69 or 79 to get to the park's east entrance. But when I double checked on google map, there wasn't any route available for public transport.
