My favorite space in Sapporo. The autumn trees were incredibly beautiful. You shouldn't miss out, please go here.

It was already snowing (earlier than expected) when I visited the park in mid Nov 2019. The Park is quiet, and occasionally you could hear the birds singing. The snow is white and fluffy, pouring lightly onto the path that we walked along. There is a beautiful lake within the Park with lots of colourful trees and flowers surrounding, and well decorated by a few Japanese bridges. I just can't stop shooting many nice photos from different angles & locations within the Park.

We took the streetcar from the bottom on Mt. Moiwa to the park. It was a snowy day, and we felt like we were walking in a winter wonderland - we even sang the song. Since everything was covered in snow it was a little hard to tell where we were, but we enjoyed it anyway.

Nakajima Park is only three stops frorm downtown Sapporo on the subway. It is a beautiful park. In autumn, the leaves turn idfferent colours art different times, with shades of red, orange and yellow making a colourful display.. As Sapporo is in the far north of Japan, so spring comes later -- the cherry blosoms bloom in April. Najajima Park is a great place to view the cherry blossoms or "sakura" as they are called in Japanese. The park also hosts the Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara and a tribute to the US conductor and music educaor, Leonard Bernstein

We love the winter season, so we took a stroll through this small park. It’s well maintained even in the winter months. There was few people there. More birds than people. The pond appears frozen, but unsafe to walk on it.

We decided to visit this park as it is within walking distance from our hotel. Went there in the morning for a stroll and was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery with white carpeted snow everywhere. Someone even made a snowman at the park!

There were not many people there so the whole place exudes a sense of wintry serenity. We even saw frozen lakes and ponds for the first time. It was a magical feeling! An unexpected gem to visit if you have time.

We came here and the whole park was white to due to the snow. It was very beautiful. I had an enjoyable stroll in the park and it gave me a ‘magical’ feeling.

By the way, exit 3 of Nakajima Park subway station is located within the park.

Amazing park where you can enjoy the amazing colors of japanese automn.
Really picturesque scenery are plenty there. Behind the lake you can enjoy the mountain landscapes, if you are into photographs or painting you can find what you are looking for there

I was relieved that the park is already all covered with snow and the pond there frozen. Peaceful and beautiful place. Great for a relaxing stroll.

Although I'd not say it's a must visit, with mere minutes away from the city via subway, it would be a waste to give it a miss.

This is a huge park, within walking distance of the central areas. There's a lake plus beautiful gardens. The concert hall is located there. I saw canoes laid near the lake, so I presume you can canoe there too. Lovely place for a stroll and picnic.
