last winter ,end of November, visited the university of Hokkaido. It was snowing, and the view was awesome.

I came from the tropical country, Malaysia. It was the first time I experienced a heavy snowing, and the scenery in the University was so beautiful.

I arrived here at evening. So everything was almost dark! 😂 but the beautiful landmark and atmosphere still remained. We enjoyed much here. But it was quite slippery near the entrance gate on winter that time. Need to be more careful. Cause I fall down over there 😅 afterall it's a nice place!

Conveniently situated near the North exit of Sapporo Station, Hokkaido University was a short walk away. An Information Centre at the entrance is helpful for directions and attractions of the campus. Walking through the snow covered roads and enjoying the views of the various school buildings and the dried snow covered trees was enjoyable. There was this large area of... More

It's good to see, in the midst of all the modern buildings in Sapporo, there comes a classic building full of flavor, full of character and I'm glad they preserved this architecture. Traveled in December 2016, my children had a blast playing in the snow in the compound...

It was the first snow experience of my daughter and the place and timing was perfect! Beautiful landscape! You can also learn about the history of Hokkaido while touring the museum.
