The resort is about a 30 min bus ride from Sapporo station, the buses don't seem to leave until they are full despite saying they leave every 15 minutes on Sundays. There is quite a lot to do for children above the age of 3, although less choice for younger kids. There are things to do both outside and in,... More

I was there when it was Hokkaido Snow Festival season (2017), there were food being sold inside the dome and snow activity outside the dome. Snow activities include snowman building, snow slide (various height) and laying under snow. The snow sculptures were cool. I was having a great time at the festival and I really recommend people to go there... More

It was a bit of a trek to get to the Tsudome site for the 67th Sapporo snow festival. I hadn't gone before. I would say that it would appeal to young children up to grade 1 age. My 9 year old found the site a bit babyish, but my 7 year old enjoyed the maze and slides. Dress your... More

During Yukimatsuri, the Tsudomu Area is the best for children. There are countless activities, such as tube luging, sledding, ice slides, zip lining, snow rafting,... For a small break, you can enter the dome and have lunch. Inside the dome, there are food booths and some playing activities. Most activities are for free. Selected ones, such as zip lining, snow... Sometime it is difficult to give a review through another person opinion. With all the travel we did many occasion we need to tune ourselves into each other in order to appreciate the activities and environments of the day. For Tsudome, she has an excellent impression of the place. We tried to categorize the items she likes in different level.... More

Cannot thank the facility and volunteers enough for putting such big smiles on my kids' faces this weekend. They tried the ice slides, bamboo skiing, inner tube & other sledding and also enjoyed making snow castles themselves. We ventured into the Tsudome for a little break out of the snow to play in a bounce house and get a snack... More

After walking through the buildng sized ice sculptures in town, we decided to take the train out to Tsudome. It was well worth the trip!! They had huge snow slides for tubing, snow everywhere to run and play in, warmth and food inside the dome, and the best part was the snow mobile pulling you in a raft around a... More

It has lots of space and must be a very good sports location. Very easy access from Sakaemachi subway station (Toho Line last stop).

Visited Tsudome during the Snow Festival. Took the shuttle bus from Sapporo station to Tsudome, which is one of the sites of the Snow Festival. This site is definitely aimed more at children than adults. The wait for the snow slide was approximately 2.5 hours. There were huge lines for everything, including the toilet. Fine place to visit if you... More

Sapporo is nice and we are well travelled around Japan but this place is really poor. More queues than Disneyland and any equivalent. Poor quality place overall. Leaking roof, bleak environment. Nice people but would never recommend. Don't come.
