Sapporo is very unique in that one can walk underground from this location all the way down to suskino , clock tower, Sapporo park, etc. and beyond. JR tower is a bit more high end but lots of stores, restaurants, etc. we wen in summer just beginning part so was not hot and we avoided coming in winter. be prepared... More

The Paseo centre was one of my favorite shopping areas connected to the underground network near the JR Sapporo station. There are 2 levels of restaurants to the West and they have some cool and fun shops to the East, including a few stores dedicated to popular japanese cartoon characters (hello kitty etc). Good place to escape underground when it's... More

Labyrinth of small shops and eateries. On food avenue, there's a strong curry smell at the end due to the very strong smelling curry restaurant. Very good selection of things to eat and nice n warm when it's freezing above ground.

One of the few shopping center or department stores linked to JR Sapporo Station. Worth a visit for some shopping or meal if you have the time to spare.

We spent our short stay visiting this complex for three consecutive days to shop mostly for food although we did a little shopping too. This underground mall is a haven for ardent shoppers. It is easily accessible to other malls and hotels nearby through the passageway.

Paseo is just a big mall, one of I think four in JR Tower. Shopping in JR Tower is pretty good by Sapporo standards, but if shopping is your thing you're probably not visiting Sapporo for it. Paseo stood out to me for its food options, which are good and plentiful. I had breakfast, brunch and dinner here on different... More

Here, everything is just fit them together and anything you want could find anywhere from here. As well, more well organised thing is the biggest railway station is inside.

This is part of the whole JR Tower complex comprising of four "shopping centers" - Apia, Esta, Stellar Place, and Paseo. What I wanted to share was the 1000 yen in welcome coupons available upon presentation of your passport at the information desk! The coupons are in 100 yen increments, and are redeemable with every 2000 yen in purchase. Though... More

Big mall for being underground. Lots of different "walks" to check out and plenty of places to eat. Great signage to help you get from the street level, to the shopping to the train station part of this underground maze.
