This park stretches almost 2 km in downtown Sapporo. From the TV tower you have a splending view over the entire park. Specially nice during cherie blossom time.

The heart of Sapporo is full of flowers, sculptures and people relaxing. As the sun sets, there are great views of the TV Tower.

Despite the rain we thoroughly enjoyed a stroll in the park with its various booths that are set up for the lilac festival. It's very refreshing to emerge from the underground mall and have a wander through the gardens. We especially loved the tulip beds...More

Is a park with beautiful flowers and statues. We did not walk further up to explore more. Next to it is TV tower.

When we were there a group of elder citizens were planting up the flower beds, which later came in to bloom, beautiful and colourful. There is very little litter in the park despite there being few litter bins. The people of Sapporo take their rubbish...More

Not worth a visit, but good to walk through when catching the metro to other places. Well maintained garden and lawns.

This is a very pleasant park in the middle of Sapporo. There is a fountain and a wonderful little playground with a large white slide and a spectacular Noguchi Isamu black slide. It’s hard not to miss walking through the park as you explore Sapporo...More

A park that says it all, nature, view, art and culture, what more can you ask for. We enjoyed munching our fresh fruits to celebrate spring time in Sapporo!

Located at a walking distance from our hotel it was a central location. You can walk the park over ground or go underground and you'll discover shops and subway stations all the way to Sapporo JR station. Practical when it is cold or rainy. The...More

We enjoyed walking on this park, though the garden were not yet in bloom because of the winter season but still a park that you don’t want to miss if you visit Sapporo.

If you are visiting in the summer, maybe not very long, half hour to one hour, depends on how long you want to take photos or just simply enjoy its beauty. Susukino is just a few blocks away.

Sadly looks like nothing. March & April generally don't have anything special. You will however get to enjoy the park itself though.

the park is in a contained area and as the other reviewer has said...you can move around easily underground with ease of access to all department stores & exits.
