We watched a ceremony that was being conducted with local students... they rang the bell after laying a wreath. The various memorials are not far apart, it's an easy stroll. A moving place to visit.

You can use the bell and call for peace and a world without nuclear weapons. Use it and listen to the sound.

A simple idea for a an interactive memorial. The bell has the world map without borders etched on it. People can ring the bell as they approach.

There were lots of visitors around the attraction and all wanted to take a turn at ringing the bell but it was such a sombre tone that people just stopped to listen and reflect.

The bell has a world map on its surface. It is located within the Memorial Park and visitors usually stroll pass it. Very near the Children Peace Monument.

It has a nice meaning and makes sense for it to be there. It is also nice, but not really special. There are many people who use the bell.

Most of the memorials in the peace park are things you can look at, read or experience. The peace bell can be rung by anyone who wants to add their thoughts and wishes.
