My favorite hot spa in the suburbs of Kobe. I often visit the spa when I visit Kyoto. One of the three best spas of Japan. You will be satisfied.

loved arima. its a small village with small streets. very quaint, good for a day trip or 1 night stay. lots of information available about this town so its easy to go around.

車で行きました。駐車場は1時間300円です。有馬温泉の中は結構道も狭かったです。Uターンするのも場所をさがさないといけなかったです。すぐ近くに神戸電鉄の有馬温泉駅があるので電車でもいいかも。どちらでも、神戸や大阪から行きやすいところだと思います。 有馬温泉は金泉といって、赤褐色色のお湯と、ラジウムが成分の透明な色の銀泉の2種類のお湯で有名です。ホテルに泊まるのもいいけど、日帰りで温泉を楽しむこともできます。ホテルの日帰り温泉パックみたいなのもありますが、金の湯、銀の湯、という、普通のお風呂屋さんみたいなのもあり、手軽に温泉が楽しめます。金の湯も銀の湯も普通に洗い場と浴槽があるだけ、ですが。金の湯は650円、銀の湯は550円、両方のセット券は850円です。金の湯はほんとに温泉街の真ん中にあり、便利です。銀の湯はすこし坂を上ったところにあります。 時間的に1つしか無理だったので、金の湯に行きました。 お湯が赤褐色なので、タオルに色がつきますが、シャワーをちゃんとあびたら大丈夫でした。朝8時オープン、だったので9時前にいきましたが、地元のおばちゃんらしき人たちもいて、ゆっくりはいれました。上がるころ、中学生らしき集団がはいってきました。ゆっくりはいるなら、朝のうちがいいかもしれませんね。リンスインシャンプー、ボディソープはあります。ドライヤーも心配だったのでもっていきましたが、6つありました。 タオルも売ってはいるようですが、みなさん、マイタオル持参でしたよ。 金の湯、お湯はほんとによかったです。上がった直後はほんとに体が真っ赤でした。ロッカーもちゃんと鍵がついたのがあります。 Arima Onsen is located in northern part of Kobe, and you can go there by train or car easily. Sorry, I went on a day trip. Tried just the public onsens. There are several hotels and ryokans around. There might be but I don't know.
