You can do this museum in under 2 hours easy. Half of the building is Kawasaki and half Maritime. The Kawasaki half has their nicer current motorcycles, work robots, helicopter, trains, jetski and a few other items inside. Outside has their magnetic propulsion boat.

Especially for kids around the age of 12 and older because there is a lot of hands on stuff to do like Motorcycles and trains and a helicopter, the Kawasaki Good Times World is together with the Kobe Maritime Museum which is also worth seeing, the entrance is for both.

This museum offers historical story of kawasaki. The museum is quite small but has good arrangement.

Included in the entry ticket to the very interesting Kobe Maritime Museum, this exhibition on the history and operations of the Kawasaki organisation is educational, inspiring and fun. Kids of all ages will enjoy the awesome motorcycle display, and especially the opportunity to sit and pose on a couple of them. There are also fun arcade-type games to try out... More

This is a great place to take the family in any weather, but it is indoors so you miss out on the sun if the day is good. Inside there are many things for the kids to do and explore and get 'hands on' with some of the amazing technology and transport that Kawasaki has made.

This is in the same building (same ticket) as the Kobe Maritime Museum. This is focused on the history of Kawasaki and is really promotional for the brand. There were lots of kids having fun at the exhibits. The arc of history for Kawasaki was well delineated and it looks like a great company going forward. The museum was loud... More

Kobe is a great place to live, but it is not a big tourism city for foreigners. When we lived in a Kobe suburb, we loved taking our visiting grandchildren to the Kawasaki Good Times World. It's free admission. One can drive a train. One can climb in and out of train cars, aircraft, and onto stationary motorcycles. Cheap thrills
