It is very nice to take a walk along Takasegawa. Although it is now a small river, it used to be as an important route of internal navigation between Kyoto and Osaka. This spot "Ichino Funairi" is near Oike Avenue and not far from Kyoto...More

We found this place as part of a wander around near our hotel the Kyoto royal spa hotel, very pleasant nice place to visit ideal for stroll after tea

We walked along here after being taken to lunch at a Maiko restaurant on the same street. At the end the street we came upon a main road, Kawaramachioke, on which we also discovered a great Irish pub, all decorated for Halloween!
