Pretty easy walk, last part with the stairs is the hardest but still achievable if you are a regular exerciser. Great view and great way to finish a day of sight seeing.

The walk up was nice... But a lot of stairs ;-) view from the view point was nice... But we climbed to the very top of mountain...

Took about 50 mins going up as I wasn't very fit. Views from the top were well worth the 'pain'! Highly recommend to those who are not keen on the commercialized stuff. One of the highlights of my Kyoto visit!

This is definitely worth the hike. The views are great and the hike gives you a great appreciation of the forested mountains around Kyoto.
