Nice temple complex and beautiful garden. To get there take a Bus and Subway day pass (2000 yen for two days). It is very useful to visit Kyoto.

Kennin-ji and the "Twins Dragons" painting could not be ignored because all in this temple is beautiful! Painting, garden, main house etc. I recommand to visit !

This beautiful, Rinzai Zen temple has exquisite gardens and a very tranquil atmosphere. Well worth visiting.

The Kennin-ji Temple grounds provide a perfect backdrop for the Temple. They are well looked after, as are the buildings.

Just loved this place it was a cloudy rainy day but once you stepped into the temple you just relaxed took about 1 hour to wander around only 500 yen great stone gardens and the dragon paintings wow only down side not many English signs...More
