I love the Osaka Castle Park. It is beautiful in every season and almost always has something fun going on. The park surrounding the castle is gorgeous, and the square around it often has food trucks and performances. It's easy to access by train or...More

I would definitely recommend this attraction for families just not the elderly or anyone who can’t walk too far. Although very beautiful the castle grounds are steep and difficult for anyone using a walker or wheelchair. It’s about a 20 min walk from the nearest...More

It's a bit out of town, worth a visit for a good walk. Huge compound and elevated enough to have a look down at the city.

Inside the keep is very beautiful and free to explore. We didn't go inside the castle, but the area around the castle grounds kept us quite occupied for a few hours. Must see place when visiting Osaka!

Start with the Osaka Museum where you will appreciate history. The park has a nice view for picture-taking. The Osaka Castle is amazing with nice view from the top.

I agree with the other's who responded; I believe it is always open....I did not see a fence or "gate". You just walk into the park and enjoy!
