We went to the Science Museum of Osaka. The museum itself consisted of 5 levels with 4 levels of different scientific areas you can visit. The price itself is cheap and children on or under 15-16 are entitled for complimentary assess into the museum. There are lots of different zones to indulge in and learn the scientific knowledge accompanied within... More

As with many other places in Japan, signage is not available in English, but that does not make this museum less enjoyable. Children aged five to 10 should benefit the most from the exhibits. However, I am sure adult visitors can learn many things from what they see as well. Recommended visit d is duration two to three hours. Do... More

This place will be a great place to visit. My daughter who is ten years old enjoyed the museum so much that she was unwilling to leave. 80% of the visitors are school children below the age of 15 and all of them love this place. Lots of activities for the children.

if you love science so much and you enjoy those things related then you should visit here. basically i just look at their interiors and the structure of the building, checked out the robotic stuff near the entrance and that's it.

The contents covered in the museum might be informative and interesting, but all the words there are in Japanese. Apart from the fourth floor, where you can really find something to touch or move or look at, on the other floors you won't discover anything. Therefore it isn't worth it to pay a visit here.

The Osaka Science Museum is mostly built for kids. I used to live in near New York and later near Chicago and frequently went to the science museums in those cities. Osaka being one of the largest cities in Japan, I expected more. It's a good place to take kids on a hot summer day, but it feels old and... More

This is our second science museum visit in Japan, the last one was in Nagoya. I think their museum are mainly serve for locals, so English is not available for most exhibitions. This one is a bit dated in compare. There are 4 levels in Osaka science museum, each level has a theme, physics, chemistry and sound, basement is the... More

We decided to go to the museum when the temperature outside was reaching 100. We first had a decent lunch at the museum's cafe and then spent about two hours waiting for our teenage son to check out all the displays. Although there were a lot of adorable kindergarten age children dong their field trips to the museum, but this... More

Love to learn about science but since there was little to no English and the volunteers spoke little to no English I wasn't able to learn anything new . Don't waste time or money here unless you know Japanese

Many mixed reviews for this one, it must be because it is all over the guides and the people see some average museum. It is not true, there is lots of stuff to try and experiment. I have seen some bigger science museums in other cities in the world, but this one is almost exclusively hands-on which is a must... More
