We spent a short afternoon here as my husband and I are interested in all things scientific. The museum has 4 floors filled with many objects and experiments so it's great for kids. However, the majority of the information is in Japanese and without audio...More

If you have children and run of Universal/aquarium fun stuff to entertain them, try this museum. You pay only Y400 and can spend 2-3 hours. My daughter didn't want to go, but she ended up enjoying herself very much - touching stuff, pulling, pushing, testing,...More

Went through the science museum in 2hrs. Had lots of experiments to try and interesting facts to learn. Honestly, when I was in school 30 years ago I was taught aluminium wasn't affected by magnets. The experiments there proved otherwise! Cheap day out.

The contents covered in the museum might be informative and interesting, but all the words there are in Japanese. Apart from the fourth floor, where you can really find something to touch or move or look at, on the other floors you won't discover anything....More

The Osaka Science Museum is mostly built for kids. I used to live in near New York and later near Chicago and frequently went to the science museums in those cities. Osaka being one of the largest cities in Japan, I expected more. It's a...More
