A quiet but nice and calm feeling in this temple just in the middle of busy Osaka. Maybe not a place to hang around for so long but look at the local and watch how they do the rituals and give it a try...can't make...More

A must when in Osaka... culturally well worth a visit. We loved all the places that showed us the history of the area.

A nice spacey temple ground with interesting statues and buildings. There is a fee for the 5-story pagoda area. A short walk from Tennoji Station and the Tennoji Park.

Amazing pass at the ready once again. Went all the way to the top of the tower but nothing to see, made a wish at the wishing well, small but beautiful garden in the middle of Osaka.

This Temple has enshrined The Four Heavenly Kimgs (Gods) that are often placed at the cardinal points of a Temple. They are a magnificent example of Buddhist Statues.

There is a fee if you want to enter the temple inner surroundings. But if you remain outside, you don't have to pay.
