This area comes alive after dark when large crowds meet up to view the neon signs. Lots of places to eat in this area as well.

We were there after shopping, take a stroll along the river. Walking around the unique signboard of Dotombori, especially the glico running man.

It's one of the landmarks of Osaka with glico sign. There are many Japanese restaurants. We recommend Takoyaki near Iciran ramen not the famous Takoyaki one but the taste is good (9 balls for 500 yen)

Not a good place for kids. Too crowdy and easy to get lost.

I stayed at Shinsaibashi area during my last trip. It was within walking distance to Dotonbori. It's more convenient travelling to and fro dotonbori via train. Parking is expensive.
