Use it as a center point to get round and visit. Daimaru...takashimaya are the main shops around, dotonbori is good for food and just to see what's up.

Pros (1) There are so many shops and restaurants (2) Some souvenir shops have good design small things. Cons (1) Too many tourists & too crowded. (2) Not many tourist information centers.

I've been to Osaka a number of times, but this time is the only time I walk throughly the entire this shopping street. Lots of things to buy and lots of places to eat. Really enjoying😁

This is a place for shopaholic. Be prepare to spend a few hours here if you are into shopping. However, the shops are almost similar with the one we found in Tokyo, most of it are the standard international brand. It is flooded with tourist.
