Worth checking out

Another impressive temple in Nagasaki. It was quite cheap to enter and there was some English information available too. Impressive structures. You may not need too long here, would be good to combine visiting it with walking to other temples nearby.

It's nice

When you have visited a number of temples they all start to look the same. Got some great pics here. When you go into the main hall there were lots of little vivariums with crickets in.

Beautiful grounds :)

What makes it "worthwhile" to visit this temple is its beautiful grounds with neat lawns & blue hydrangea flowers (maybe seasonal flowers though), but here you won't see any big beautiful pond with rocks & colorful fish in it as you would at many Japanese...More

One of the gems of the Buddhist temple street in Nagasaki

This is my favorite buddhist temple in Nagasaki. A great place to visit at any season and visit the well kept gardens. Superb historical buildings, Relaxing and calm atmosphere.

Well set back from the Nakashima River an interesting TEmple

A quiet place for a rest

Some chinese history like other temples in Nagasaki too. Great Palm trees just in front of the main building. Definetely worth the 300.-JPY entrance fee.
