- TravellerMelbourne, Australia15,739 contributionsUpmarket Shopping CentreMy wife and I visited this shopping mall a few times during our recent holiday in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed at Berjaya Times Square Hotel for 9 nights. That Hotel is within a short walking distance from here. This is one of the largest shopping malls in the city and has a variety of luxury shops selling designer labels. It also has a Parkson Grand department store and a large food court in the basement. We bought a few things during our visits.Visited November 2022Written 30 November 2022
- donavan94563Orinda, California212 contributionsOne Day in Kuala Lumpur from Cruise Port in Port KlangTraveling with a Family of 4 with college kids Had one day in Kuala Lumpur during a cruise which ported in Port Klang. Note: There is basically nothing at the Port Klang Cruise Terminal so you need to book an excursion of some sort to see anything. The cruise ship offers several tour options including a shuttle to and from downtown (Bukit Bintang). Decided to explore Kuala Lumpur on our own since its much cheaper for a family of four to take our own taxi. There is a set price from taxi's to the the Pavillion Shopping Center in Bukit Bintang. Kuala Lumpur is an approximately one hour drive from Port Klang Cruise Terminal by taxi without traffic. Make sure you get a taxi in plenty of time to get back to the ship. You can take a train from Klang, however you would still need to get a taxi from the cruise terminal to Klang which is about 10 minutes away. Bukit Bintang is known for Jalan Bukit Bintang, a busy thoroughfare with upscale shopping malls and luxe fashion boutiques. Al fresco bars and live music clubs line Changkat Bukit Bintang street. The main shopping malls include: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Fahrenheit88, Lot 10 and Sungei Wang Plaza. Each are clean modern multi level high end shopping malls with food courts. If shopping is your thing, this is the place. Lot 10s' food court specializes in all the famous food stalls providing inexpensive local foods from across Malaysia, from the state of Penang to Ipoh in a clean comfortable setting with air conditioning. I particularly like the asian village design of the food court. Pavilion Kuala Lumpurs' food court specializes in a wide variety of food from all over the world in a clean comfortable setting with air conditioning. In particular, Madam’s Kwan Nasi Lamak is recommended as the best nasi lemak by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia. This is really big deal, as the fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk is considered the national dish of the country. Nearby Jalan Alor Food Street is a lively strip known for sidewalk hawker stalls serving local Chinese and Malaysian fare. During the day, there is not much activity but when the sun goes down, the street will be hustling and bustling with activity. Note: The Bukit Bintang Metro Station is conveniently located by the shopping malls which provides a quick, easy and inexpensive way to other attractions in Kuala Lumpur such as the Batu Caves, Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC Park, Chinatown, Central Market Kuala Lumpur, etc. The Metro of Kuala Lumpur also accepts Apple Pay and all you have to do is tap your iPhone at the entrance and exit gates.Visited December 2022Written 2 January 2023
- Ro LSan Francisco, California2,587 contributionsNice shopping mall!Staying at the Ritz Carlton is so convenient walking to Pavilion. Beautiful mall with so many stores and restaurants to choose from. Most designer brands are here, but not the best place to shop in terms of pricing. Designer brands are best to purchase in Paris; it’s the cheapest place to shop for it. If it’s harder for one to travel to Europe then this place is your best bet. Pricing on the other hand will be higher. There is a food court on the lowest level at Pavilion which offers an array of different cuisine with very reasonable prices and it’s pretty good. Definitely a must to visit.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 4 January 2023

Lots of dining options, and great “precinct” for high- end luxury, childrens things and so in. Well worth a visit - even if it’s just to see the centre display! Also free wifi (but I found it to be inconsistent).Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 January 2023
- Travelove5811,272 contributionsHuge high end mall... great ambience to soak in.Huge beautiful high end mall - lots of expensive brands, classy, cosy ambience . With a huge basement "branded" foodcourt to complement the stature. A distinctive feature of this mall is its huge central atrium, with many steps leading towards it from the entrance point. Have been to this mall many times in past visits to KL. Probably the nicest, biggest & best mall in KL. Great place to soak ( & browse ) in the atmosphere here.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 12 January 2023
- Ezra BHowick, New Zealand307 contributionsHuge and a great place to eatPavilion is in a really easy to reach location in KL, so if you're into malls then you really should go. The mall itself is huge with a large range of stores for a variety of shoppers. The highlight for me, however, is the massive range of eateries and restaurants at a range of budgets. As a traveller, I'm always looking for good, cheap food that is convenient to reach and buy. Pavilion definitely ticks this box for me.Visited January 2023Written 7 February 2023

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a huge place with all major international brands available. Restaurants of all price ranges are scattered around each storey. I believe that almost every luxury brand in the world had a presence here. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but they have great varierty of products. Loved shopping here and the food court was massive too.Visited February 2023Written 6 March 2023

In fact, we visited this mega mall a few times just to experience the different food options during our recent stay. It also has a big supermarket. I will highly recommend this place if you are keen to find a mega shopping to spend a day in KL.Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 March 2023

Good grief this place is massive!! I'm pretty sure we never saw all of the stores it's that big!
Lots of stores to browse and something for everyones taste and budget. There were also plenty of food options available too from a quick coffee to street food and nice restaurants. The mall was very clean and staff we encountered were all very friendly. Plenty of security around especially at the high end stores and atms. Definitely worth a visit if you're in KL.

We were staying at jw marriott which is right opposite this mall. So we had the easiest access to it. Loved the fact that they had so many brand pop ups. The dior event was fabulous. Enjoyed coffee at ralphs coffee by ralph lauren. They had so many events and promotions going on. It was a fun experience. Loved shopping at Tiffany & co, Cartier, MFK fragrances, Tous store, Moschino and many other lovely brands. They pretty much had most of the famous brands. Lovely options of cafes too. We loved having our high tea at TWG tea. Overall a fun experience and visit. The aesthetics, fountain at entrance and multiple brands availability was a major plus. Must visit mall when in kuala lumpur.

A classy large mall in Kuala Lumpur near Jalan Bukit Bintang.
There is a large variety of shops and restaurants here, prices range from affordable, mid range to luxury. This is certainly a popular mall for locals and tourists alike.

There is a special card for Pavilion Mall "Tourist Reward Card" involves a lot of offers and discounts. For more information, you may google "Tourist Reward Card / Pavilion Kuala Lumpur". I tried to add the link; however, Tripadvisor does not allow adding links to the comments !
Hi, does the pavilion tourist privilege card require minimum spending before it can be used? Is there any sign up fee involved?
