    Connecting cross town
Useful stops on this line are KLCC for Petronas Towers, Masjid Jamek for the Idian area and Pasar Seni, the Central Market also for Chinatown. Here the train rises above ground offering excellent views over the city center, old and new before returning underground for KL Sentral, the main railway station. Useful line with AC
This is an odd attraction. This is a line I've used many times when in KL and it's especially useful for KL Sentral, KLCC and Kampang Park, along with several interchange points for other lines on the LRT. All the stations I've used on this line are air conditioned, making it not only useful, but also a respite from the relentless heat outside. Currently the lines are virtually empty because of you know what and there are fewer trains running than normal. Until the situation returns to normal, be prepared to wait up to 7 minutes for the next train.

    Can be massively overcrowded
This automated metro line is useful although intervals can be quite long for a metro line (12 mins during the day!). The worst thing is that at peak times the line is now massively overcrowded and you might have to wait in line for a couple of trains before you can squeeze in (and I really do mean "squeeze"). Some stations have crowd control to limit the numbers entering the station itself. I don't know why they don't run some trains just in the central section and have them turn around to make extra runs, rather than have every train go all the way from one end of the line to the other. At KL Sentral in the morning you can barely get onboard the train, four stops south and you can get a seat because 60% of passengers have got off.

Many popular shopping destinations can be reached by this LRT line coming from Gombak suburb. Suria Mall is at KLCC station, Masjid Jamek is for the Indian neighborhood by the Mosque and next Pasar Seni both for Central Market and Chinatown. After the main railway station and Nu Sentral Mall, Abdullah Hukum is the nearest for both Midvalley malls.

This is a very ancient form of public transportation. The system is horrible and the train is cramped, especially during rush hour.

I took this line a few times to get to and from KL Sentral to Ampang Park, which was the station nearest to my hotel (Element KL). It operated smoothly and a relatively short interval between trains even on weekends. A little crowded on the Friday peak but otherwise ok.

I use this line frequently because it is prompt, clean, and efficient, with passengers behaving civic-mindedly. Additional coaches are provided during peak hours so that waiting periods are short. All coaches have seating for wheelchairs and prams, and priority seating for the elderly or infirm. Stations have security stewards standing by, and ticket kiosks function for long-enough hours. Feeder busses to and from stations provide car drivers with options to park outside the stations too.

One of the attractiveness of KL in term of public transportation. It is really good and useful way to see most of KL city centre as well as some of the suburbs. If you like to combine your LRT Kelana Jaya routes with some of short walks, then you will be at the better position to see and enjoy KL in affordable costs. One of the really good things is LRT is interconnected with all other train systems in KL, Monorail, other LRT routes, KTM Commuter, KLIA, KTM regional trains, mainly through ONE meeting point, KL Sentral Station. Brilliant.

I took this LRT train to go from Maluri to Miharja. It is just a one stop journey and it is very comfortable. There are plenty of seats available inside and the stations are also very clean and well maintained.
