Visited Ur-Mu a few weeks back and could still remember the vibe and ambiance of the space. Sunning works by Malaysian Artists with a few SEA Artists mixed in. It is advised to prebook the tickets via their website at ur-mu.com but they are more than happy to assisted us to book our tickets at the door.

My over all experience at UrMu was very pleasant and eye opening to see many stunning works of art on display all by one private collector.

An essential experience when you are in KL. Everything from the design to the internal experience tells a story, leaving visitors to self-decipher. Thoroughly worth it and different all together from other art museums. Online booking is preferable.

This is a wonderful little gem in the heart of the bohemian area of KL. The museum was bright, modern, thoughtfully laid out and made great use of space. The pieces on display were by turns fun, provocative, poignant, and - importantly - relevant. Spanning 5 small floors, this is a great way to spend 45-60 mins in the city. Loved it!

The best exhibition of contemporary Malaysian /SE Asian art i have visited in recent years. Highly recommend checking it out. just a very short walk from Bukit Bintang MRT/ Jalan Alor / Changkat BB / Jalan Mesui / Taps beer bar . Beautifully restored building. Well annotated and explained. Lovely roof terrace.

The artwork is amazing! This museum is very near the street food of Jalan Alor and it is located in an older residential neighborhood. Chances are if you weren't looking for the place you would never find it, but please take the time to visit.

The building has 5 floors of fresh, amazing artwork. There is even a life sized tiger sculpture that Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones) has painted.

Treat yourself and visit this wonderful museum!

Our friend got injured outside and the staff gave us first aid kit and helped us out!!

Museum related — the whole place is so interesting. Hidden Gem in KL. The curation and arangement of the pieces was seamless. The place is also very accessible with a lift and toilet on every floor.

Would recommend to others!

What a find. This cool hidden gem of a museum hidden within the well worn apartment blocks is effortlessly real.

A chic mixture of art and architecture showcasing Asian talent.

A calmness of eclectic madness in a busy city.

Very happy I searched for something to do and found this.

Was introduced by a friend to come and visit Ur-Mu and I was definitely impressed. The exterior of the building was a stark contrast of the surrounding, the art collection was immaculate. Overall enjoyed my time here.

Side note: Tickets are required to enter, the staff at the front was very helpful to assist us at the door.
