About
No trip to KL would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest twin towers. The skyscrapers are utterly stunning, particularly when illuminated at night. The Twin Towers Visit Operations is open Tuesday through Sunday and tickets are released at 8:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid disappointment, you can purchase your ticket in advance via online ticketing or at the Ticketing Counter, Concourse Level.

- AdelaideFamilyof5Reynella, Australia1,488 contributionsEvening VisitWe purchased our tickets direct a few days before we wanted to go and would recommend tickets are pre-purchased. You are able to select the time you want if it's available. Tickets at the time were MYR 80. We chose 7pm as we had seen the views during the day going up KL Tower. If you are getting a taxi or a GRAB, allow yourself way more time than you think you need. We got stuck in a traffic jam and almost didn't make it. They won't wait for you, but in saying that, we actually had to wait in line for 15 minutes as they take up groups. While there are many other buildings around the world which are taller than Petronis, it is still the tallest Twin Building and is the 10th tallest in the world. We had about 30 minutes to stroll around by ourselves while at the top. Definitely worth seeing KL during the day and the night. At one stage it was raining and because of all of the lights from the building, it looked like it was snowing. On departing, you are offered a photo and magnet of the picture that gets taken of you when you first arrive. They back drop the towers and they look fantastic but very expensive.Visited November 2019Written 7 January 2020
- Rick WSevenoaks, United Kingdom2,101 contributionsMust do sight of KL!We booked in advance through the Internet for our Petronas towers visit, which avoided the need for any queuing. In fact, as you enter the enormous shopping mall, you go to the right, then down an escalator to start the tour. It takes you straight up to the Sky bridge where you can take good photographs and then continues with another lift to the top of one of the towers. The view from the top is splendid and enables you to photograph not only the city below but also the other adjacent tower. We had hoped to take photographs at dusk as the lights came up over the city, but heavy rain and flood lighting really obscured the view. It is not worth staying for dusk because in reality you cannot see very much. There is a small gift shop at the top of the tower but no cafe facility. We visited in March and were thoroughly checked for Coronavirus temperature before being allowed into the tower. On the other side of the shopping mall is set of fountains which are magnificently coloured and play in time to music at 8:00 o'clock and 9:00 o'clock in the evenings. We enjoyed watching these while sitting in the Dome restaurant just to the right-hand side as you exit the towers which provided a good view and excellent food at reasonable prices.Visited March 2020Written 6 March 2020
- SkaramooshEdmonton, Canada3,959 contributionsThumbs Up!It wouldn't be a visit to Kuala Lumpur for our Canadian friends without taking them to see this iconic building that seems to be the heart of the city. We had booked advance tickets on line. While waiting in line to board the elevator, coloured landyards will be given out to groups of 24 people (I think). Groups according to their coloured landyards will be directed throughout the journey from the ground floor to the 41st floor and upward to the observation deck on the 88th floor and back. As we step off the elevator on the 41st floor we were given a brief oral outline/history of the Twin Towers and the Skybridge. Ater that we were given about 15 minutes to explore, experience and get views from the Skybridge.....and witness the earlier group in their designated colours getting herded to the 42nd floor to board the elevator for their skyward journey. Views from the 88th floor Observation Deck was great but, unfortunately for us, Kuala Lumpur had been blanketed with haze and we fell short on amazing views! Would love to do this visit again on a clear day! The entire journey takes about an hour. Tip: - It is advisable to get advance tickets online. They sell off pretty fast. - If you happen to loiter and shop at the gift store on the 86th floor be prepared to be stuck up there till you can squeeze in with another group as your group would have left when herded. Buy your gifts and souvenirs on the ground floor....lots more to choose from.Visited September 2019Written 11 January 2020

Impressive building with a huge shopping mall inside. The skybridge was really nice and the view from the top was amazing. They only allow small groups to go in every time, so it s not crowded at all inside.

Indeed the best landmark in malaysia. Whenever you tired posing after this tourist attraction you can always come inside the mall to find refreshments/ beverages

The target of my trip to Malaysia is to visit Twin Towers and it’s achieved. Petronas Twin Towers is the main highlight in KL. Sky bridge at level 43 is wonderful. Going more up to level 86 is amazing.

The twin towers are such a wonderful site that YOU MUST see when in Kuala, Malaysia, or else your journey will be in vain. There is also a beautiful mall with restaurants and cafés nearby.

I've gone to the observation decks of many of the world's tallest buildings. This was one of them.
The views of KL are great. The price is reasonable. the tour is reasonably efficient. The skybridge is unique. When we got to the skybridge, the tour guide mentioned that it wasn't fully attached to the buildings. There is actually a gap between the bridge and the buildings, to allow for movement / temperature expansion. Well, that was all I needed to hear to convince me not to venture far out on the bridge.
There were some drawbacks that surprised me. The windows are dirty. People recommend you go at dusk to see the sunset. I went at 7pm and as the sun set, the lights came on, screwing up the lighting for your pictures and causing funky reflections from the windows.
There isn't much more to do once you are done looking out and taking pictures. When you go up, you are part of a group. They give you a block of time (20 minutes?) at each part, which was more than I needed. I ended up doing a lot of sitting and waiting to be let in to the elevator to move on. I also was dazed from jet lag, so maybe I was just too tired to thoroughly enjoy it?
Still, the views are pretty awesome and I would go back again when in KL next.

I like that it was organized,as a few people were allowed to go up according to your reserved time. You get to stop at several floors until you’re on the very top. You’ll read on the wall and see pictures how this tower was built and completed.
It was a clear day when I visited, so I was able to see the incredible view of KL.
Visitors should put this in their list to see when in KL.

Well worth it! You get to sky bridge first and have approximately 15 minutes there then you get lift to 83 floor and then to 86 th floor spectacular views over KL. Very lucky as a clear day! 10 minutes allocated at the top. Super organised and one not to miss! We booked on the day at the towers as online booking not available!

You must come visit the Petronas Twin Towers the only famous one in the world now as nobody young can really remember what the other one looks like since the tragic September the 11th. There is a large lake, park and fountains around the KLCC where the Twin Towers stand tall. If you are bored you could visit the shopping mall and do retail therapy or if you are hungry go to to food court in the mall and taste many different cuisines. And if you remember the movie with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones you might remember the scene shot here.

I think it was a bit underwhelming. The tickets are pretty expensive and not always easy to get. After that, you just go in an elevator to 42nd floor and then 83rd floor. They let you out in closed spaces which have glass windows. But the experience feels so underwhelming. It's so artificial just looking out from those windows.
The elevators are covered with monitors/screen so you don't see anything going up or down either.
I had heard so much about the twin tower. The towers look very beautiful from outside, especially at night, but wouldn't recommend the ticket to the top. Not really worth it

We'd visited the towers 25y ago, but hadn't been able to get on the tour, so we were glad to be able to do it this time around.
We went to the ticket office not long after 1000, and were able to get tickets for 1130, so we spend the slack time looking around the shops.
Once through the obligatory security theatre the tour itself was well organised, but not too strict pushing folk through to the next stage. It was only right at the beginning that we felt pressured to keep things moving so that everybody was in the next lift, and even then there was plenty of time to take in the sights and get photos.
The highlight was the area at the top of the tour where there was plenty of space and time to take in the views. The annotated model of the cityscape also gave us some ideas for other places to visit.

Saludos

Hello Esha G. There's no easy answer to your question. Not every visitor will have the same question. Your's is more of a hypothetical question. If you got a job at The Towers, you'll surely be trained in all aspects of your duties. But I reckon most visitors would want to know how to book for the tour to the top. I trust this is helpful. Has anyone from the US figured out a way to purchase e-tickets directly from the official Petronas Towers website? The options offered on TripAdvisor are much more expensive than the actual ticket cost. Unfortunately the Petronas website does not accept Visa, Mastercard, GooglePay, ApplePay or even payment from any US banks.

I went at lunch time to Petronas basement ticket counter and got a 3pm slot no problems and the shopping centre had the best food court ever. Staff were very helpful

Добрый день! Скажите, если купить билет на сайте, надо будет стоять в очереди в кассу, чтобы получить билет? Или можно сразу проходить на экскурсию к назначенному времени?
