We went here twice for food and a walk around. Its's a bit like a smaller version of Camden market in London. There's loads of stalls selling souvenirs, arty stuff, jewellery, clothes, t-shirts, scarves, leather goods and local artists selling paintings. We had lunch here so spent about 2+ hours here. It was a great place to chill, eat and... More

Nice place to buy some good Souvenirs at decent prices, there are also many small attractions nearby like KL Museum, China Town, Guan Di Temple, Mariyamman Temple etc.

Good market with many things, good prices, indoor, good if it's raining. Small shops, not to crowdy.

Basically, the central market is the starting point of different activities such as food (don't miss the yusoof & zakhir restaurant), clothes (the chinese market is nearby) and getting around (hop on and off bus tour). But the market hall is nice too and is worth it to go inside to just stroll and buy things for a cheap price.

I stayed close to the Market, it's better than Chinatown. You have a large variety of souvenirs, clothes and art gifts if you wish in a Art deco & AC environnement The restaurants inside would need may be a little update to be attractive. Definitely a stop by

I visited the Central Market in KL yesterday. The Art Deco building is lovely and pleased to see it has been preserved . This used to be be the 'wet market' of KL selling chickens, meat, fish etc but renovated to become a mixture of Malaysian handicrafts , paintings, fabrics, and restaurants. It's fine to pay it a visit but... More

This market is near Chinatown and is very touristy. You can find your usual souvenirs, some handmade craft items and the other usual nicknacks, jewellery, even some food. I roamed around but left empty handed, though I can see it's an easy place to get souvenirs if you're tourist.

This is a quite nice market with all kinds of stuff to see and buy. However, the stalls are a bit repetitive in their offerings. It was ok to go there but we did not stay that long...
