Walking Lake Gardens
May 2021
Always go for runs and walks - so open - clean and fresh. Can easily obtain an 8 kilometer run / walk.

Lovely place to spend the day but super humid so dress casual and light clothes
Dec 2020
Beautiful park and excellent way of seeing greenery in the city. Lots of different plants and trees to be seen. Even a small waterfall for photo opportunities. The park has a little shot inside to buy refreshments and also bathrooms within there. parking available at the North main entrance but not that many but can be access by metro and its only a 5 min walk from the park.

Perdana Botanical Garden
Mar 2021
Built in 1889, this piece of paradise has changed names many times maybe to shed it's British era colonial past and make it sound more Malaysian. This botanical garden seems to be thriving in humid weather and provides not only relief, comfort in heat, but all kinds of educational, learning and conservation efforts that city is making to promote awareness and importance of having a nature presence in an urban jungle like KL.

There are many attractions within the whole area. If you just want a city park experience, the entry is free with multiple entry points and you have access to ponds, lake, mini waterfalls, shaded tree areas, historic heritage buildings and monuments. For animal lovers there's a butterfly museum, deer and bird park.
And those with deeper appreciation for natural world, there are various botanical gardens with rare plants/flowers/trees that are not only native to the region but from different parts of the the world that can also grow in tropic climate.

It's one place I can never get tired of.

Nice area to walk around
Jan 2021 • Family
It is indeed a beautiful green garden. Despite few areas under maintenance, it is a good place to jog, walk and relax with family. To all malaysians, let's preserve our beautiful aset, help keep clean and tidy so that our future generation can also feel this beautiful experience. For those not keen to walk, you can take the buggy at RM 10 per person. The buggy driver (mamu) is awesome and sharing lots of information about the attractive areas.

Sad to see the neglect
Nov 2020
This 220 acre park located near Kuala Lumpur city centre with a lake is attractive, but the maintenance is quite poor. At one end are pools into which waste water flows continually into a stagnant pool, emitting a foul smell. Nearby is a broken waterfall which has stopped working for years. At the bottom of the once beautiful waterfall are stagnent pools of water.

Tropical Oasis
Aug 2020
Had a good morning walk here last week. It's a lush, green, tropical oasis right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. There were lots of walkers, joggers, and families while we were there. We really enjoyed our time at the garden. We strolled along the walking paths among the huge, shady trees and had a fun time spotting all the insects, plants, fishes, bees, and squirrels there. Will definitely be back for some 'nature-time' to rejuvenate.

Peaceful to have a walk
Jul 2020
They have free of charge access. The place is very nice and not busy at the time we visited. There is an almost hidden spot where you can see some roasters and deers. We enjoyed it.

Some really nice parts to it and worth exploring. The area around the lake was especially worth the walk. Some lovely flowers and trees.

Hello! Does anyone know if Perdana Botanical park is opened for walking and jogging? I went to Tasik Titiwangsa park and unfortunatelty the park is closed and people are allowed to jog only around the park. Tq.
