My hotel was near the masjid area and we checked it out on our leisure day. It gets pretty crowded and is difficult to naviagte. Small shops offer a lot if one is in shopping mood but bargaining skills are required

Good place for shopping with cheap and a lots of choice.Event price in some of the malls are good for shoppers.We stayed in Pakroyal suite very good.

Its a nice experience to walk along Masjid India which is now more lined with jewellery shops than the previous fabric and clothing stores. Not sure how much actual shopping one might do there but it offers the typical street shopping experience, especially a month before Hari Raya (Eid at Fitr) and Deepavali when stalls line the streets as well.

Rather long walk if you take public transport. We took a cab here from KL Sentral for RM 17. Lots of stores with traditional Malay and Indian clothes. Do bargain to get them cheap. However, if you want to shop in air conditioned mall, there's Jackel Mall but clothes here are pricy. Check out the cafe opposite Jackel Mall selling... More

Very hard to get parking here if you are driving. If wanna come better using public transport. Very crowded especially this coming Ramadhan and Raya :D

I visited this shop called Leo's @ Jalan Bunus for punjabi suit and sarees They have great selection including exclusive bridal collection for all races. Service and staff were helpful and friendly.
