We visited the market as part of a walking tour of the town. Quite a busy market but not in any way unusual. Overall our tour revealed a very busy, bustling, quite dirty, hot and humid town that had little in the way of attraction....More

The veggies and fruits are very reasonably (cheaply) priced, fresh and a wide variety of choices. Typical selections include eggplants, lime, cabbage, all kinds of tomatoes. You will easily see bananas on the whole tree trunk that got cut off freshly that day and ready...More

Not so well organized but it definitely has all the products from local Maldives or imported - fish products, tropical fruits, melons. The environment is not so pleasant but on second thought this what wet market should be.

Next to the harbour, the place is primarily a fruit and vegetable market. Usually a part of male city tour, can be a good quick visit toexperience local culture.

It's a busy market near the pier and opposite the fish market. Mainly sells fruits and vegetables. Just like other markets. Nothing special.

It's pretty much in the middle of the northern shore. If you're at Republic Square (the main square with the big flag) and facing the sea, turn left along the coast and it's a minute or two away.
