Binondo Church is ironically designed - it is huge and beautiful, but with an obvious Chinese influence as the color red is prominent in its architecture. Inside it is high-ceilinged, with enormous paintings - you wouldn't know where to set your eyes first. The altar is also decadently embellished, with statues and figures of saints, Christ and the Holy Family.... More

We met at this church prior to the Big Binondo Food Wok which I highly recommend. Learned from Ivan, our tour guide, this church was put there by the Spain Colony Government in its attempt to convert more Chinese into Christianity. Beautiful Church inside and out, it is definitely worth a visit.

We walked from Intramorus, crossed the bridge into Manila Chinatown. Chinatown did not impress me much. I found the buildings old, alley dim, vagabonds sleeping on the street and traffic heavy and congested. The red octagonal shaped of the Bell tower of the Church attracted my attention. There was a fire engine stationed at the rear of the Church run... More

It's a bustling area, but in the middle of it stands the robust church of Binonda, a nice landmark. It's well preserved, better than most churches in Manila.

Manila has several nice churches but this one has the most beautiful exterior (in my opinion). The area nearby is very vibrant and busy.

This is a very nice church in the heart of China Town. Inside is well looked after and very big space for mass. I really liked the ceiling and the layout here. Even as a non Christian i can go here to rest and enjoy the decor It can be very hot in the summer as they only have fans

Binondo Church is lovely I like the place and it's beautiful, the church is a mix of new and old Manila combining the Filipino and Chinese culture and artistry.

A church steeped in history. I would urge everyone to google the history of the location before visiting so it has real meaning to you.

It was an eye opening experience. It is at the edge of Chinatown. It has a different "feel" unlike other cathedrals. You have to be there to witness it.
