This old mosque from the 15th century is built next to the Roman Augustus temple. It has a large garden and it is possible to pray outside. There is a car park underneath and the old town is very close.

They open these retreat chambers mainly during the Ramadan period. So I went ahead and waited for 1.5 hours to get inside! If you ever happen to be here in Ramadan, the experience is totally worth it!!

The mosque was built in 1700s. Adjoining building has been built 600 years ago. There are also Roman temple ruins. It is located in the old Ankara neighbourhood where one can see the old Turkish architecture houses.
