Quick visit

As other reviewers mention, this place is an important part of Turkey's history. At the time of our visit, a number of sections were closed for renovations. Entrance fee is 12TL, or included if you have the museum pass.

Another must see
Jan 2020
This is the second must see museum in Turkey after the I. Turkish Assembly (Turkiye Buyuk Millet Meclisi). You can see both in one day, actually in 3 hours most. They are very close to each other, 5 minutes walking distance.

It is a very well preserved building full of history. This is the place where Atatürk presented “Nutuk”, The Great Speech in 36 hours from 15 to 20 October 1927. It is a must see for someone who loves historical buildings. You can also see Ataturk’s personal belongings and black and white photos of the time.

Second National Assembly Building is one of the most important museums in Ankara. You can find a collection of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's personal belongings. While walking around the museum, you can hear Mustafa Kemal Atatürk reading Nutuk.

A critical building- 2nd national assembly building in the history of Turkish Republic
Apr 2018 • Couples
A demonstration of how an honourable country struggled to be a great nation in the years of poverty and ongoing wars.
How a leader, Mustafa Kemal ATATURK established a nation from the ashes of Ottoman Empire.

The museum is located in Ulus region. Very easily reached with public transport as Ulus is a bus hub.

One can also apply for a museum card (museum pass) here.

Birthplace of Turkish Republic
May 2017 • Family
At the end of our Indepence War Turkish republic was founded in this building by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his collaques. Yu will see the assembly saloon and many old documents and outfits from those times as well as pictures. besides you can listen to Atatürk's talk in his voice in the Assembly Hall.

Historic building in original state. Brings you back to the 1930s.

Not much labeled in English-- but doesn't really matter as most displays are self-evident. Original parquet floors, original state assembly chamber with original desks (look like school desks!).
