The accommodations were mediocre,especially considering the cost. I am not sure what qualifies it as a "Retreat Center". Turkey has beautiful hotels and real Retreat Centers, not to mention lovely beaches and exquisite cities. I would not advise anyone to pay to stay at Gokpinar....More

I stayed 4 days. We cooked in the chimney outside! Peace and stars at night after superb meals. We tried to belly dance as well and listened to Turkish music played by one of the hosts. Dorthea, the rock of the retreat, has such wisdom...More
