If you are visiting Bodrum or anywhere nearby, you MUST do a daily tour and visit Orak Island. It is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. The water is unbelievable, crystal clear and beautiful. Just stunning! These tours will usually leave in the morning and visit 3 islands, spending the most time (about 2.5 hours) at... More

The day excursion from Bodrum was the best thing about our trip! We chose the trip to Orak Kadesi & 3 other islands, which cost about 40 lira each. The boat was quite big & it accommodated about 40 people & this includes a standard lunch (macaroni, chicken & salad). They sell drinks on shore & you can carry your... More

If staying in Gumbet you will find this operator on the beach. We have a trip at least once while we are there and this is the best operator we have found. They had a new boat this season with lovely facilities and food. The thing I like about Tyson's is they never over fill the boat, so it is... More

We had a fantastic time. We went to karada, marine bay, camel beach and the boat stopped several times so we could swim amongst the fish. An eye opening experience. Free drinks all day and a lovely meal was provided. Thorougly enjoyed it and highly reccomended. Sami was helpful with getting us on and off safely.

Take a trip across the water, fabulous for sight seeing and shopping but don't forget your passport. It only takes about half an hour by ferry and there are many bargains to be had.

You must take a "daily boat tour" around Bodrum and nearby waters before you die.. They say that "no blue is more blue than Med Blue" and east Mediterranean along Turkish coasts are amazing..

Bodrum is basically just a little port with souvenir shop after souvenirs shop and a few restaurant/bars in between, you don't really get to see Turkey. There is a castle to look around but they don't take payment in euro for the entry fee only credit card or Turkish lira which is silly for those coming over from Kos who... More
