This is a nice straight trail. there are a lot of families and people on the trail on the weekends so not ideal for a fast ride, but good for some exercise and a long straight trail.

We love taking family bike rides on the Tobacco Trail. It's an easy ride for anyone. Have been coming here since the kids were little.

Traveling here for family visit, never heard of this trail before. What little walk I did take, was very impressed. Like that it is shady on a hot day, lots of bikes, walkers, runners etc. Looking forward to a return visit to experience more of...More

We started our walk at the start of the trail in Apex, it was very well marked and an enjoyable. We walked to route 64 tunnel and turned for the walk back, enjoyed seeing the family of turtles sunbathing and the trail was big free.

A great path for jogging, biking, or just strolling. The path is flat and graveled, although from this access point there is a hill from the parking area to the path. There's a bathroom at the parking area. The path crosses at least one busy...More

Yeah the one at New Hill looks closer, especially if your starting point is to the west of Holly Springs. Otherwise taking 540 up north and going to the Wimberly Road entry point shouldn't be too far either.
