A quick trip during a stay in Winston-Salem (45min or so). Very well laid out. Unfortunately some exhibits were closed. Great exercise pushing a stroller & toddler! Grateful for a tram to take us back so we didn't have to walk all the way back....More

We love the NC Zoo! It is a great way to spend the day and totally exhaust the kids! They are clean and the animals are in good health. The elephants are a must see!

Now they are talking their kids. It's a great experience for all. It's an all day thing. Most people take more than one day to experience the best.

I did not check out the situation for wheelchair assessability, but I do know that there are free trams, buses and shuttles around the zoo, and to the parking lots. There is a hop on site near each entrance, and one more... More
