This are of Albany is one of the Historic areas; unfortunately it is not as well kept/updated as the more popular Montieth District. That said - there are "pockets" in this district that have very good examples of turn-of-the century architecture that is well preserved....More

This distruct is the poorest area of Albany, and the housing in the area reflects that. The city has done nothing to help residents preserve it, and the streets in the area are poorly maintained.
