The Hoffman bridge is the first on a tour of 8 covered bridges in Linn County Oregon. Once you have found this one near Crabtree signs will guide you through the rest. Or a map and guide can be acquired at the Albany Visitors Center....More

only 30 minutes from Corvallis, very picturesque. Behind the covered bridge there is a semi decreipt barn that also makes for good photos. Nice side trip for people who like old architecture and sights of days past.

Since our last name is Hoffman we just felt we had to see it. Took a selfie of the 2 of us in front of the bridge. Might make the Christmas card this year :)

There are 6 Covered Bridges in a short loop between Albany, Stayton and the Scio Area. The bridges are: Stayton-Jordan, Hannah, Gilkey, Larwood, Hoffman and Shimanek. We rode our motorcycle on the loop of bridges and can easily be done in 3 hours. I highly...More
