Lithia park is on a stream running through the middle of town, and provides a great place to walk, rest, exercise, think and reflect, or just enjoy yourself.

John McLaren designed Golden Gate Park and then was persuaded by the Folk of Ashland to design Lithia Park. As with beloved GGP, there are Green 'rooms' bordered by lush plantings, paths drawing you ever further and, as in GGP, the further you go, the...More

Beautiful stream in the middle of the park. Adjacent to Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Take a stroll, which has a payed walkway. Bridge right in the middle of town has a beautiful view of the park.

This park is very large and beautiful, with many types of plants and relaxing spaces to stop and sit and enjoy the scenery. The river runs through it, and you can catch a guided docent tour to get information about the history of the park...More

If you are downtown this is a must walk. Rushing stream, early morning deer, reflecting lakes, and easy strolling. What more could you ask for - well mineral water a block away from a ornate fountain. Ashland is a great town

There is a safe creek walk with stepped entry, musicians, a playground, paths to stroll, proximity to dining, restrooms, hiking. It's a parent's and kids dream. I stop here every time I'm in Ashland.

See the stream, the ducks, the elderly couple smooching, the trees. Hear the rushing waters, the birds chirping, the children's delights, the teenagers serious conversations with each other. Smell the forest Touch the wood chips on the trail. Ponder your place in the universe.

Just to stroll and enjoy quiet time in nature. The park is beautiful. It's definable worth going. Even my teenage daughters enjoyed the stroll.

The creek from the spring rushes down through the town. The sound is soothing, and several restaurants offer creek-side dining. The azaleas were blooming beautifully this last week. The park has walking paths and lush grassy areas for people to spread out and enjoy the...More

The park pretty much starts behind the theater. Just follow the trail along the creek.
