This RV museum is part of the Jack Sisemore RV dealership in Amarillo. It's a free, self-guided tour, and you can tour the interiors of most of the RV's. It was very interesting. He also has a collection of motorcycles - some up high on the walls. There are also cute displays like a motorcycle shop, A&W restaurant, and he... More

What a great collection of RVs, camping equipment, and Harley Davidson motorcycles and it is all free to see. Take an hour and wonder through the trailers and other exhibits.

This small family museum is tucked away in the back lot of a large RV dealership. A very clean and friendly place! It may only take a half hour to see everything but the several vintage camping trailers are so fun to walk through! There are many older motorcycles also- not many vintage ones but an interesting mix from the... More

This was much better than expected. Many RVs, campers, cycles and more. There was an old A&W Restaurant display. A fishing display with old baits. Many RVs and Campers. I saw the old Starcraft Camper type that we used to have and camp in from the 60's. Some were very old and and most are open to walk in. You'll... More

We were pretty skeptical going in, but we had some time to kill headed to the airport. What a wonderful detour. The restored RVs are beautiful, and you can climb into most of them. Each one has a nice explanation of what it is and what its history has been. Really first rate curatorial notes. This really is a must... More

The Traveland RV Museum is fascinating. If you've every owned or traveled in an RV, you'll get a kick out of this museum. There are examples of some of the very first RVs and travel trailers. The restoration work is really excellent. Interspersed with the RVs are other interesting artifacts: an old soda fountain and a gas station among them.... More

I felt a bit awkward stopping at this free museum, which is behind a business, since I had no intention of patronizing the business (I'm not in the market for an RV). We did have to walk through the show room floor, but everyone was welcoming and did not make us feel that we were intruding in the least. If... More

We loved wandering through this museum. The restored RV's are carefully displayed, and you can walk right through most of them. Certainly makes you appreciate the more modern RV's we have today! The museum is behind an RV dealership, and even though we were there on a very busy Saturday, the staff was very cordial in taking us back to... More

Never owned an RV but have always loved looking at pop-ups & mobile homes of any type. These vintage ones are so unusual! Nice that you could go inside of some of them.

Came across Jack Sisemore RV and Museum while traveling through Amarillo Tx. The people at the Museum could not have been nicer. We had at least 6 people that thanked us for coming to the museum. Not only was this free it was packed with history. They had the Flxible Bus from the movie RV, a 1946 Tear Drop Kit,... More
