Visited this place with friends recently, but we used to live in the area. Really like the park. We've always enjoyed it. It has a HUGE green area, and two play grounds for kids (one for toddlers and another for youths). Go to the rear of the park and there a great and lengthy paved path along the river. It's... More

You will find yourself wondering how far away are the cowboys in Fort Worth or the rude Yankees in Dallas in this serene green park. Biking trails and walking trails are wonderful. Wildlife still wild with an animal consciousness. Few tourists, mostly locals (like me)...on second thought......well, urrr...maybe, just maybe, you should skip it and go to Six Flags.

We are here visiting in the Arlington Tx area. Checked for dog friendly hiking / walking trails, this one came up. We walked our dogs here twice it was a nice flat hard top surface to walk them on. We came back with our bikes and rode for a good 4 miles had a nice time. We would come back.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy River Legacy for and hour to an hour and half walk. The trails are wide and well maintained. Take a flashlight if you think you will be out past dark. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. We've seen a bobcat, a fox, a coyote and a snake. Actually, we spotted them from a distance... More

What a great space! River Legacy Park has several playgrounds, 7 miles of biking/jogging track, pavilions with grills for picnics and lots of wide open fields for playing sports, flying kites or just relaxing. If you are into Pokémon Go, there are lots of pokestops, gyms and Pokémon to hunt for. It's a great place for families, friends and couples... More
