You can easily walk up with steps. Once there you have an amazing view over the Colorado River and beautiful houses. On the other side you can see the city.

You are able to walk up the steps or the easy way up to the top feels kind of cool that George Armstrong Custer used to have picnics there with his wife . On the top beautiful views up and down the lake

This is short walking trip up about 100 stairs, to about a 1/2 mile walking path with great views of the river and downtown Austin. Worth taking the short trip there and take and hour to visit.

Yes. They have picnic tables & trash cans there in assorted areas but be prepared for a few people passing by & possibly asking for a bite of food!
