Highly recommend getting up here for a decent morning walk with some spectacular vantage points and views of the Colorado River. Wear some good walking shoes and be sure to take your camera.

Ample parking and nice hike up stairs and along the river; there is a side entrance that doesn’t include stairs. The fact that General Custer had also picnicked here was fun; the trees and bushes blocked most of the views except for the far distance.

Great views from the top. If you have small kids I would keep the kids far away from the cliff edge on parts of the trail.

Yes. They have picnic tables & trash cans there in assorted areas but be prepared for a few people passing by & possibly asking for a bite of food!
