I thought I might be bored, but they presented the historical information in an engaging way. I had forgotten how much LBJ was involved with the Civil Rights Movement.

My husband and I are history nerds, so when we saw a brochure for the LBJ Presidential Library, we had to make an impulse stop. We loved it! It is well worth a few hours of your time. The library has interactive exhibits and includes a replica of the Oval Office. Lady Bird's office is left as it was when... More

The exhibits are very informative. I was especially interested in LBJs early years. There was when we were there last month a special exhibit on Texas history. It consisted of original documents and artifacts. It was well worth the trip.

Who knew that LBJ had initiated do many of the laws and legislation still relevant today. A relatively small but nicely designed museum. Very informative. Good mixture of media. Very eager and helpful staff and volunteers. Highly recommend.

I have been visiting this library since it opened in the 70"s. The visiting exhibits make each visit very fresh. This time we saw the first photograph taken in Texas in the 1840"s, a signed letter from George Washington thanking Gov. Galvez of Louisiana for the cattle sent to feed his army during the revolutionary war, and signed letters letters... More

The library is smaller than I'd anticipated, but well planned and executed. A must for history buffs. Plenty of artifacts and narratives, but glossed over LBJ's antiwar problems..

The highlight of our trip to Austin was a visit to the LBJ Presidential Library. From the opening quote ("Our Mission is at once the oldest and the most basic of this country: To right wrong, to do justice, to serve man"), to walking out the door of this museum, you are immersed in an exciting time in our nation's...
