There's so many restaurants to choose from and the Crow Bar is a must see, it's a small bar with southern feel. No much parking but we had a great time exploring the area.

This place is so full of a strange energy, you can walk after dark and you still feel safe around. Lots of vintage stores, some food trucks close by and a general sense of a college town.

You can go almost anywhere to hear the music. We just dropped into bars. Check out Austin music website that will tell you who is on. If you like jazz then try the elephant bar on congress

Yes, but Uber and Lyft are no longer available. Instead, download the "Ride Austin" app; a similar startup created by mostly former Uber & Lyft drivers.

I have some difficulty walking. Where is a good place to park somewhere in the middle? And are there places to sit and rest along the way?
