Year-round enjoyment in this picturesque park. On the banks of Lake lady bird aka Town Lake, jogging, walking, picnicking, whatever your hearts content.

The trail system that runs along and on both sides of Lady Bird Lake are awesome! A must do, even if you're not a walker.

A perfect, easy walk around the lake with views of both the lake and downtown. The downtown skyline is beautiful and from the Congress street bridge you can see the state's capital building at the end of the block. You can walk or bike and if you get adventurous, you can stop and jump on a water bike (available for... More

The trail has small and big loops around Town Lake. So depending on your distance you can still make it around the lake. The path is also big enough so you can ride a bike on it and not feel like you are in everyone's way. Does get busy on nice days or when school is in session. Also they... More

We walked & biked the entire loop! Beautiful scenery and great way to enjoy the river. Very busy on weekends but lighter traffic during weekday mid morning. We found a local bike rental place right near the bike trail so was really easy to do. Was great way to get some excercise in. Lots of local places to stop for... More

I highly recommend visiting this trail if you get a chance. The views are great and it is not strenuous. It is very safe and a lot of fun.

It is a religious experience for me. I spent many years in austin biking and loving the city. This bike trail defines austin. If you go there you should do it. I doubt you will have regrets. Easy trails for beginners and great trails for technical challenges. I do both and love both. Try it, you will love it.

I enjoyed a personalized running tour in Austin, but once I completed this tour I used the additional time to walk and run around this great running track in the hart of the city. It was really amazing to see all the runners at this nice Sunday morning. You have the most amazing view on this trail, have many other... More
