It was a warm sunny day - perfect for a walk along the lake. Great view of the city skyline, lots of people walking, running and biking. We went under the bridge to see the bats but we were too early in the season. They don't make it back to Austin until March. But would have loved to experience that.

The walk around Lady Bird Lake (used to be Town Lake) is a nice walk. There are several places where you can cross, so it can be a long or short walk. There are a few bikes, but mostly walkers and runners. Watch the boaters on the lake while you stroll. It is easy to get to - lots of... More

Twice we went around LB hike/trail and each time we discovered something new. People were all everywhere. There were walkers like us, bicyclists, and joggers. I'd say in two days there were maybe 400 people on the trail. Nature is amazing. From the trees, the interesting-sounding birds, the water--it was beyond beautiful. What a gem.

This park is so nice. The trails are well taken care of and the scenery is lovely. It runs for miles along the river and connects with Zilker Park. There were lots of runners, dog walkers, and cyclists. There is an area for the dogs to be off the leash. There are access points for water use. I saw lots... More

Walk or jog here regularly on weekends. Always busy, lots of folks walking, running, walking dogs, riding bikes. Great views of the city and many outdoorsy folks on the trail.

Took a 6 mile run here today and the scenes are majestic. Bucket list to come back and do the many water events available and also see the bats.

Visiting from Az for a short weekend visit and I visited the trail twice...one for a nice morning run sharing it with the many locals and then a nice stroll sharing with other out-of-town friends.

I took a walk here on a beautiful sunny January morning and loved the park. There is almost ten miles of trails to meander along and lots of great views of the city. We did a loop around the lake, which locals refer to as Town Lake and it was just shy of five miles. There was a diverse group... More
