I love the stroll through this piece of Congress. Laid back, being able to see the Capital, can meet "Keep Austin Weird" characters... Peaceful and attractive, for some reason, to my soul...

This main street from the Congress bridge housing Mexican free-tail bats below- a tourist attraction up hill to the State Capital building is worth noting on a trip to Austin.

Lots of great places to eat, fun quirky local shops, and overall fun. Good way to walk off all the good food you will eat in Austin.

This street is full of life. It's a great place to walk around. There are places go eat and drink along the way.

History everywhere you look plus a whole lot more. Great view of the Capitol, the Austonian, the tallest building, the great crossing of 6th Street, down to the Ann Richards, Bat Bridge, Congress has a lot to see.
