I'd agree with previous comments about the pricing sometimes tending towards the ridiculous. However, there are some more reasonably priced items if you're prepared to root through. Not cheap, but then they are located in South Congress so that's not really a surprise. Even if you don't buy anything, though, it's an incredible place to walk through and marvel at... More

This place will take you back in time. The have an interesting array of items from all over the world. While walking though each section you will see interesting jewelry, antique items, and pictures from different periods of time. There is a lot of history in the store and stories with every item you view. This is a must stop... More

Uncommon Objects is a curiosity shoppe on South Congress that will leave you feeling like you've fallen from a "real world" to a bizarre Wonderland. The collection of curiosities will truly leave you wondering, sometimes give you pause, and sometimes give you the creeps. Unfortunately, the prices for most objects will shake you awake to reality. In spite of the... More

Cool oddities shop on S Congress but very over priced. We walked around a minute they wouldn't budge on any of the prices on there skull collections. I don't see how they stay open as no one was buying anything. Cool for a walk through.

Our child was eager to visit after hearing recommendations about this SoCo destination, and to say we all left a little creeped out would be an understatement. First off, there are some cool and very unique items in this antique shop, from old toys, hardware and art work to post cards from early last century. But then there are the... More

Great stuff / but most of it is ridiculously overpriced. Most people are just browsing / and not buying. Including me. I wandered around for some entertainment for a bit / laughed when I saw my Ouija Board selling for $65. Worth a walk through. Staff very nice. They don't seem concerned about people not buying anything. If they are... More

Uncommon Objects is now an institution. You literally never know what you'll find there, from funky vintage clothing to mid century home furnishings, anything is possible. Good prices, too. SOCO and ATX approved.

Very interesting place and a MUST visit shop for TOURISTS! There's a bunch of random things in here and it's set up like an organized hoarder museum. I love it! There are a lot of knickknacks all over the place. Make sure to stop by and take a look! I loved their witty greeting cards and the creepy doll heads!... More

The creativity on exhibition here is very special. It is not all things to all people, but it does have something for everyone. Not only do we always great ideas here, we typically find something that we "just have to have!" On South Congress, there are far too many shops that are selling the "same stuff" in most of them.... This shop is super fun to poke around in. There are a lot of incredibly unique things on display, and it's a wondrous place to behold. That being said, all the prices are definitely at the highest end of pieces values so don't expect to buy anything. Consider it as more of a museum exhibit. It's a great way to... More
